VALLEY CHRISTIAN CENTER

The ENCOUNTER Worship Conference began in 2006 with a vision to bring solid, Biblical teaching on worship, as well as an opportunity for musicians in the local church to sharpen their skills and network with others.

 

LaMar Boschman taught in 2006, covering how the Holy Spirit plays a pivotal role in directing our worship to God. Without His help, we will undoubtedly miss some of the wonders that God has for us.

 

Karry Godwin taught in 2007, bringing a freshness to the idea of what worship is in the church today and how technology, gadgets, or a drum-set won't necessarily bring you into the presence of God. A pure and humble heart is key to seeing the glory of God through worship.

 

ENCOUNTER 2008 - Worship Weekend. We will spend a weekend this fall putting into practice the things we learned from LaMar and Karry. We are holding an intense worship weekend where people can come for a few hours or for the entire duration to really press into the awesome presence of God. More information to come...
