Live a Life of Worship
Worship at Valley Christian Center is a vital part of our services and our lives. We believe that simply singing a song to God on Sunday morning isn't truly living a life of worship. We want to foster an environment in which the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), is given full reign. On Sunday, we do sing, pray, clap and raise hands, dance, smile, cry, and get healed. But it shouldn't stop there!
Living a life of worship doesn't mean being on your knees 24/7, raising your hands, or dancing for joy. These are only a small part of what it means to truly worship the only God worthy of our praise.
Worshipping God with your everyday life is one of the greatest gifts that you could give the God who created you. Choose to smile at the cashier in the grocery store. Look the gas station attendant in the eye and ask how he is doing today - and really care about the answer. Read a Scripture passage and share it with a friend - perhaps a non-believer. Send someone a bouquet of flowers - anonymously.
Living a life of worship can and should be exciting! The possibilities are endless. Jesus says 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' (Matt. 25:40) So ask God to awaken a spirit of worship in you today. He will begin to show all the ways He's alive and well in your everyday life.
Your life of worship will make a difference!
