Mission Statement
Valley Christian Center has been built on the vision to be a healing place for a hurting world. Pastors Steve and Lynette Kuno have a passion to express Christ through creative means.
VCC reaches out to a lost and hurting world, offering healing, compassion, and hope to the poor, oppressed, and forgotten.
Vision Statement
1. That Valley Christian Center becomes a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.
2. That Valley Christian Center would have the atmosphere of the
Kingdom of God.
3. To share the good news of Jesus Christ with the thousands of residents in Fillmore, Houston, Howard, and Mower Counties that surround Valley Christian Center.
4. To develop people to spiritual maturity through relevant discipleship
programs: Bible studies, small groups, seminars, and retreats.
5. To equip every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover
the gifts and talents God gave them.
6. To have a strong emphasis on marraige and family ministries.
7. To send our members on short-term mission projectss to every continent
as well as financially support those out on the mission field.
8. To one day start daughter churches all over the world.
9. That Valley Christian Center will be a regional church - with beautiful facilities including worhip center, a prayer center, classrooms for Bible studies and training lay ministers, and a recreation area. All of this will be designed to minister to the total person - spiritually, physically, and socially.
I stand before you today and state in confident assurance that these dreams will become realty. Why? Because they are inspired by God!
